The charts are regularly updated and printed after the initial issue. The time period between each printing will vary depending on the number and type of corrections, sales, etc.<

It is the responsibility of the users to update the maritime charts after the date of the last Notices to Mariners. In addition to data obtained through surveys carried out by the Norwegian Hydrographic Service itself, information on changes to infrastructure along the coast is collected from various public bodies. This includes cable data, lights and navaids, bridges, etc. Changes of significant navigational importance are published consecutively in the publication Notices to Mariners.
