In the period 7-12 February 2008 Statens kartverk hosted a visit of Bulgarian colleagues. The group was dominated by managers from the Bulgarian Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency, headed by Agency’s Director General Mr. Tzveten Boev. Representatives of private survey companies completed the group.
The main interests of the Bulgarian visitors were on the institutional arrangements, division of responsibilities and provided services in the field of cadastral and other mapping,
land registration, geospatial data. Information and presentations were given at the National Mapping and Cadastre Authority (Statens Kartverk) headquarters in
Honefoss, the Municipal Technical Office at Oslo Municipality and Norsk Eiendomsinformasjon.
Despite of the different legal and administrative environment and traditions, the Bulgarian delegation gathered a lot of good
ideas that might well be implemented back home.
